Jamal Alsuwaidi’s artistic journey started at a young age, since he participated in art competitions from the seventh grade. After graduating from high school, he went to the Art Institute in Sharjah and there he entered courses in drawing basics, sculpting and ceramics. He also participated in work shops abroad, in Paris and Switzerland. As well as participating in workshops inside the country, such as; Art Institute in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi University. He won an award for being the most creative competitor in the University of Abu Dhabi. Most of his work associated with the Environment of the UAE, combining the aspects of nature and marking history and heritage, to make his work convey a message of environment and history. He was inspired by a Kuwaiti sculptor known as Sami Mohammed and Isamu Noguchi. He visited a variety of museums in countries such as Switzerland, France, Italy and Russia.
